EHS Trakhees Scaffolder Training Course

Attendees:

All workers involved in the erection, dismantle and modification of scaffolding onsite.

Objectives:

To give the attendees such knowledge and skills to be able to erect basic scaffolds in line with EHS Construction Safety Regulations Clause 5.9.

Day 1:
• UAE Scaffold Regulations. Scaffold Heights and Weights
• Overview of Preventing Falls in Scaffolding (SG4:10)
• Tube, Fittings & Boards
• Safe Ladder Access & Egress
• Manual Handling
Safe Use of Safety Hamess & PPE
• Scaffold Ties & Stability
• Bracing & Tying Scaffolds
• Scaffold Planning & Foundations
• Erect & Dismantle Independent Scaffold 2 Bays 1 Lift

Day 2:
• Theory on Mobile & Static Towers
• Practical Erection & Dismantling of a
Static Tower 3 Lifts
• System Scaffold Theory
• Erect a System Scaffold Tower 2 Lits

Day 3:
• Birdcage Scaffolds theory
• Scaffold Handover, Inspection & Scafftag
• Knots, Rope & Gin Wheel Practical
• Rescue Discussion
• Practical Scaffold Assessment
• Knowledge Test
