• Current Legislation
Regulations, standards, and official guidance covering work at height and the use of mobile access equipment.

• Low-Level Access Equipment
Understanding and safe use of low-level units such as podiums, folding units, and small mobile platforms.

• Mobile Access Towers
Overview of PASMA-approved methods for assembling, dismantling, moving, and adjusting mobile towers.

• Hazard Identification
Recognising unsafe practices, site conditions, structural issues, and common risks associated with towers and low-level equipment.

• Equipment Inspection
Pre-use checks, inspection sequences, tagging systems, and identifying faulty or unsafe components.

• Stability & Safety Measures
Understanding bracing, outriggers, guardrails, platforms, toe-boards, and safe working loads.

• Practical Training Session
Hands-on assembly, dismantling, repositioning, and proper use of both equipment types under instructor supervision.

• Assessment
Formal theory test and practical evaluation ensuring competence in both tower and low-level equipment use.

Certification:

Successful delegates who complete the theory and practical assessment will receive a PASMA Certificate and PhotoCard, valid for five years, showing “Combined Towers & Low-Level Access for Users” endorsement.
