Simian International attended global conference in Kuala Lumpur
This annual event is always well attended and brings together operators, contractors and training organisations, with the intention of providing a forum for improving standards within the industry.
The aims of the conference are closely aligned with Simian’s overseas operational strategies and we were thrilled to join the other exhibitors and play an active role in the event which was held at the Royale Chulan Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia earlier this month.
The theme this year was “Fit for the Future” and over 450 delegates attended to listen to expert speakers, network and share ideas about improving safety standards and competence within the oil and gas industries.
Ian Fyall, Operations Director for Simian International said, “The conference was a great opportunity for us to promote our e-learning programme. There was a great deal of interest from delegates who had attended the conference from all corners of the globe.”
He added, “It was great to network with likeminded industry leaders and listen to some of the speakers and their ideas for supporting safer working conditions and improving competence.”
