Who’s the course for?
Site supervisors and managers who are responsible for inspecting and checking scaffolds for safe use and for signing certificates and registers in accordance with statutory regulations.
Course aims and benefits:
To develop in candidates an understanding of scaffolding components, forms of construction and inspection procedures of basic access scaffolds to comply with relevant current legislation and Codes of Practice.
Qualification/ certification:
CITB Certificate – Safe Inspection of Scaffold SIS.

Practical inspections, Classroom/Tutorials
Methods of assessment:
Practical assessment and theory exam.
Entry requirements:
Applicants should have six months’ construction based site experience.
