We are very proud to announce that Simian International has recently signed an agreement with the Qatar International Safety Centre (QISC) to continue our development and dedication to scaffolding safety best practice across the region.
Established in 2001, QISC brings together a significant number of accredited bodies ‘under one roof’. The organisation is the market leader for Health and Safety training across a wide range of disciplines. Now with Simian’s partnership, QISC will now have the support of a leading training and consultancy provider for the scaffolding industry in the region delivering CISRS training courses.
QISC recently welcomed Einar Johannsson as the face of the organisation, taking on the role of Operations Manager. With a strong history in the management of health and safety procedures, Einar is certain to continue QISC’s dedication to promoting high safety standards across a wide range of industries.
Einar has said of QISC and its new agreement with Simian International: “We have been in Partnership with Simian for 18 months and as we did so well last year, in 2019, we decided to renew our contract to a five year one. Simian International have been supporting QISC throughout this time with sales and technical support along with mentoring. During the next five years it hopes QISC will expand and bring other new instructors in hence growing our partnership and the CISRS brand.”
Speaking of the partnership, MD at Simian International, Ian Fyall, has said: “It’s great to see when our partnerships are working well and new scaffolders are being trained in worldwide qualifications, allowing them not only to work in Qatar but other countries. One thing Simian international is all about is what legacy we leave to the growing areas of the world and I can honestly say with over 5,900 scaffolders trained by Simian in the Overseas CISRS scheme since 2011 we are playing our part.”
QISC, quoting Henry Ford, said of Simian International’s partnership with the organisation: “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is a success.”
