Independent Scaffold Inspections

 

Statutory Scaffold Inspections:

We provide an independent scaffold inspection service that meets the legal requirements of the country we work in. These include:

• Before use inspections (including Handover & Design Handover inspections)
• Weekly inspections every 7 days
• Requested Inspections (after adverse conditions e.g. high winds or vehicle damage)

We will prepare a full written report and provide a register for each scaffold (note if required we will complete the clients own paperwork).

All of our Inspectors have extensive scaffolding industry experience and are fully trained and qualified to undertake these inspections. Simian Management carries comprehensive indemnity insurance for the provision of these services.

One-off Inspections and Monitoring Inspections:

To give clients peace of mind or as part of their safety management arrangements, we are pleased to undertake scheduled inspections (e.g. monthly) or ad hoc one-off inspections to monitor compliance and supplement the statutory inspections being under taken by or on behalf of our client. A full written report is provided and can include digital photographs to support our findings and recommendations.

Scaffolding Audits:

One-off or scheduled scaffolding audits not only consider the completed scaffolding structures, but also management arrangements in place by both contractor and client, the design and safety on site. The scope of such audits can vary to meet the needs of each customer and to ensure we meet their expectations. Audit reports are provided detailing our findings, conclusions and recommendations.
